Let’s hear our directly from Isha !!
I am a socially anxious introvert who loves to make watercolor paintings, mirror mandalas, resin crafts, illuminated wall hangings and fairy lights. I always knew I was creative but I never knew I could get THIS creative!!
I saw various artists making beautiful artwork on social media. I tried watercolor painting and then tried crafting, I wasn’t disappointed I really enjoyed and loved how it turned out.
I know it’s very cliché to say my parents inspire me. But apart from seeing them as parents, I have seen them as individuals. They both have done certain amazing things in life which I want to, too. My other inspiration and role model is Katy Perry!!. She has been inspiring me since 2011.
I experimented a lot of things before I started selling, but that was not enough. I was not aware of good packaging, an affordable courier service, how to maintain durability of the products. There were times when products were damaged which was very disheartening because keeping aside the money, there’s so much effort that goes into everything.
I have seen a lot of people making artwork but not being happy with it. I sincerely want want to tell them that your art is for you. Every artist has a different style. Don’t try to adapt one’s style, make your own and there will be people who will love your art. It’s not about being the best, it’s about what makes it different from others.
In the next few years, I want to open a small store and sell my art offline too. I also look forward to doing digital art and extend my product line.
I am very very grateful for support from my parents, my brother and my best friends Akanksha, Vyshak, Sarvesh, Selwyn, my school friends who always hype me up and a lot of people online who have shown immense support by always engaging on my posts and sharing my art. I will never forgot the people who have helped me reach small milestones throughout.
There’s only one thing that motivates me and that is, hundreds of dogs sleep hungry at night. This thought makes me want to work and get rich one day so I can afford to open an animal shelter and rescue animals (and also be able to buy a Maserati haha!).
I have never had a thought about a dream collaboration but it would be with an interior designer for sure. So all the Interior Designers you know now my beautiful artwork is waiting to make your designs look more awesome.
Work hard to inspire, not for money
Definitely Katy Perry!!
